Lead Field Technician
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for an energetic, tech-savvy professional with a passion for audio/visual systems and a can-do attitude. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives on hands-on installation work while also enjoying the customer-facing side of the job — delivering quality AV solutions across commercial, educational, and event environments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Install, configure, and test audio/visual systems including audio, Lutron and Crestron lighting control, security cameras, and networking/Wi-Fi systems
- Execute projects from rough-in through final phase, including site preparation, cabling, local area network setup, and installation of TVs, speakers, and motorized shades
- Run and terminate low-voltage cabling including CAT6, HDMI, and fiber
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues on-site
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure quality results and customer satisfaction
- Maintain tools, equipment, and consumables
- Keep accurate client and installation documentation
- Guide clients on system operation and best practices
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of experience in AV installation or low-voltage systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction documentation
- Basic understanding of audio/video signal flow
- Comfortable working on ladders and lifting moderate equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Lutron HomeWorks (preferred)
- Crestron, Control4, and network experience (preferred)
